Ok start by locating a dish. My recommendation would be to search your location for an unused on in someones yard. You can most of the time get them for free. Another possibility is to check with local sat shops. Many times they have them laying around that can be had rather inexpensively.
The ideal find would be one with both C and Ku lnb's, a 24"
actuator and at least 8.5' in diameter. You also want the pole if possible. Once you have this jewel laying in your yard locate a good location and plant the pole. 80lbs concrete for every foot of diameter. Pole needs to be plumb like the little dish. Well technically not plumb but will make you life much easier.
