Alignment

The best instructions for alignment of the modified polar mount are Sadoun's on this very website. That being said, if your pole mount is not PERFECTLY plumb you won't track the arc correctly. You will track part of the arc and then the rest of the sat's will drop out. When I first installed my motor I only got a couple of the sats. When I rechecked my pole I was just a hair off from vertical, and I mean a hair. It's that important to be perfectly level left and right and forward and backward. In addition in peaking I peaked on my southern most sat as that sat is at the peak of the arc. If you tweak the elevation a bit on your furthest East sat then when you get to the furthest West sat you may be off. Hope this helps.
