Hi... unfortunely i don't think that i can install a big antenna in my backyard...but if i can get 53 channels in Espaņol on the Ku side, is much better than any "spanish package" offered by cable companies....in any case, it is good to receive all the american channels too..... (as i speak
spanish and english .. or at least i try to speak both)
I was looking at my surroundings and i think that to avoid trees i will install my antenna in the house's roof... will be that stable enough?? (don't really know if it is easier to get a really long pole and install the dish in top of it)... but for now i think it will be on the roof....
Thanks everybody for the help and the good advices...
c'ya

I just set up a dish aligned on 40.5 and pulled in an additional 99 channels although I have not had time to sift through them as to what is what.
45 has about 22 channels available but requires a different lnb to receive from 40.5. At present I am limited in my view with my linear C Band dish much past 58 due to trees. When winter hits and the leaves have fallen I may be able to do better out in that direction. M5 at 116.8 is another good sat for C Band channels in Espanol.
At present with the FTA receiver I believe we currently have 250 or so canales en Espanol. If Spanish language channels are what you are seeking and you have the ability I would definitely install a big dish with C/Ku capabilities.
