Sg2100 On a Wingaurd nightmare...

After hitting and missing some sats, moving dish location and adjusting for months I have figured out what is wrong with my set up.

I beleive the Wingaurd was never meant to be used with sg2100. The reason is the mounting pole that comes with the Wingaurd tapers just before it bends at an angle to the wall.

It's at that bend is where the bottom clamp of the sg2100 falls. This is causing a missalignment. I am good at the sats closest to due south but i miss the ends of the arc. This explains why I have had no problems pointin when using a fixed wingaurd.

Other gripes...
The wingaurd is not sturdy enough to hold the Invacom lnb. the weight pulls the lnb down. I am pissed the could not design this better. if you tighten the screws on the lnb holder to much you risk striping the plastic they screw into, total crap. With that skew and the slightly down lnb do not affect sig strength. Mainly its the mounting pole.

I have an old dish 500 that seems to have a longer straight tube before the taper at the bend. On this I think the clamps will lay on straight tube. What a pain. Tou would think they could design these things to work better. To top that off with most of the "good" programing still on c-band. ARGH!!
