I have no hair left
I just took down my dish network dish and replaced it with a 31” fortec a hh120 and a invacom quad lnb, hooked up to a neusat 6000 factory software. I mounted the dish on the existing pole and that is plumb and level and fallowed all the directions to a tee. Now I cant get a level over 39 or signal over 29 I tried usals to locate different satellites and tried adjusting tried dish and motor on the pole, I’ve tried adjusting the dish at the elevation angle I believe I’ve tried everything.
My location is Chicago 87.8w 41.6n when I look at the evel/declina table in the motor manual it your latitude 41 elevation 49 dec 6.4 dish bracket 23.6. so my first question is, do I set the motor at 41 or 49 next I have all 4 lnb lines hooked up to a 4 to 1 switch (pansat) and have the diseq set to auto in the receiver is this ok? The lnb is not skewed at all. Also I have the the lnb set to standard at 11250 also my receiver about 75 feet away from the dish. I think that’s about every thing so how come I can just about swing my dish around like a lasso with out ever getting a good week signal?
