As long as your receiver is USALS or 1.2 compliant, the
SM3D22 will work fine. You also need to be sure that your dish weighs less than the 27 lb rating of the motor.
I replaced a
Stab HH120 with this motor very recently and I am much happier with it than the Stab. The SM3D22 has VERY little play in the dish mounting arm whereas the Stab HH120 has so much play that very little wind was required get it to flop back and forth a degree or more. This made for tough dialing in of the sats, and a very variable signal, especially in the evening or night.
Don't know about the life expectancy yet, but I will in a few years.
