You didn't say where you were located, but from the above settings, it sounds like you're near Columbia, Md. Is that correct? Just checking.

Re the problem, as Rainman said, check the LNB type. It sounds like you initially did a blind scan, which doesn't care what the setting is, and probably found a few things at the wrong freqs, but when you changed to Ku, you probably switched to the wrong LNB type, ie standard vs universal vs single (still curious about that one).
And above, you said you had a universal lnbf. Is that what the lnbf said on it, or is that what you have it set on, or both?
