My box "assigns" a number in order of transponder found and it does a H scan first and then a V scan.
I have 17 tp's listed for AMC3 1-12 are all H polarity and 13-17 are V!
I do NOT have a correlation between what my box says and what Lynsat says (bummer)!

Oh, OK, sorry. I was going by the first post where you said:
" On tp 14, I am getting a signal of 74% and quality of 90-99% on my Pansat 2700" .
I now see that in your second post, you added the above info in an edit, but I must have read it before the edit. Sorry.
Yeah, I don't think you can ever rely on the transponder number in any FTA receiver corresponding to the actual transponder number on the sat.
Anyway, it makes sense now. Thanks.
