Got my due south sat back. :-)

I haven't been able to tune in ANY transponders on my due south sat (AMC6) for over a year, due to 4 pine trees that have grown nearly 20' since I installed my dish. Since NASA-TV is on AMC-6, I decided to take out one of my chain saws today. Cut down the biggest of the 4 trees.
Went from no signal to being one of my strongest sats. :-)

Now, if I could only see IA7. :-( Unfortunately it is blocked by a maple tree that has grown, and I don't cut maple trees {syrup} .

Kind of tricky cutting down the pine tree, because if it fell the wrong way, I would have taken down a high voltage power line, in addition to my sat dish, but I tied a chain to it and another tree to make sure it didn't go the wrong way.
