There are 2 type of Primestar dishes. Round and oval. Get the oval one since it's easier to mount lnbfs next the center one. I use old Starchoice lnbf which I got very cheap long time ago. Don't worry about the lnbf, they are cheap on ebay. Using any typical size of ku lnbf can get the signal from sats 4 degrees apart. Less than 4 degs, I have never tried since the size of the Starchoice lnbf is kind of big. You can find all stuff at HomeDepot to make bracket for mounting the lnbf. I am not a skillful guy. I can do it, you sure can do it as well. BUT it will take a bit of time to find the right position for the "side" lnbfs.

Beleive it or not, I got all of my Primestar dishes for free. Drive arroud your neighbor. If you see any Primestar dish on the roof, knock the door and offer to take it down for free. That's how I got my Primestar dishes...:-)
