News feeds are not always active. So, when you scan them you won't get a channel added to the list if the feed is not active.
I have many news feed channels in my Satcruiser which took some time to find because I had to keep searching every day until they became active and could be detected.
I wanted to take the PIDs from the Satcruiser and enter them directly into a Fortec so that I don't have to waste time searching them all over again. When the PIDs are put in manually, it forces the receiver to add the channels to the list, regardless of whether the feed is active or not. Then, when a feed becomes active, the channel is already there and viewable.
