Could you please one more time explain. For me I have to set the dish elevation 23.6 as per the calculations. I set my motor elevation same as my latitude (41). What I am getting from your message is:
You set the dish elevation angle at the dish as per the calculations (in my case about 24). Then you zero it to your true south (in my case 74W). Then if the signal is not strong enough, you move the motor elevation up and down to peak the signal(is this correct?). They recommend to peak the signal by moving the dish and motor together around the mast.
Please let me know if I have understood you correctly.
