The receiver Rainman refers to is the Motorola DSR922. There is also a DSR920 but it is being phased out of service here in the US and a DSR921 built for Canada. They are MPEG2 receivers along with analog and a whole host of other goodies built in. They are NOT DVB receivers though so while they will read MPEG2 streams of data they do not read the DVB MPEG2 streams.
It is a big dish receiver as it's heart lies with
C band. The cheapest I have seen a new unit for is $650.00 plus the module.
