Using RG-6 cable?
RG-59 (regular TV coax) will not work.

Are you using a small TV near the dish for alignment setup with short RG6 cables?

Although I've never used a Coolsat receiver, I did read of trouble with earlier firmware.
You might want to install the latest factory flash on the unit to see if that helps.
