An excellent transponder for 79 is the KTEL (Telemundo) transponder. Info can be found at
www.lyngsat.com. I get this thing at 98% strength and in the low 90's for quality. It is a
Spanish language channel but that is irrelevant as you are wanting to line the dish up so any transponder will do.
I am thinking it is 11900 V but do not remember the rest.
