Hello bahjaa, and welcome to the forum

bassed on zipcode 23188, I have gathered the following:

your latitude 37.317768 N, longtitude 76.763424 W
Your true south compass heading is 190 to 191
Your true south sat will be AMC 5 at 79 W
what kind of motor do you have???LNB? Reciever?
do you have a clear view facing south? south east and south west? trees or buildings?

I can write it all out for you but its much easier of you took some time and get aquainted with this site and read ALL of the installation instructions.

Once you have read everything and you are still having trouble then please post your questions. I am including some good links that I suggest you read and really go through these links as they will save you a lot of time and headache.

gather all of your settings and numbers from this link.

this is for stationary link setup so you can see if you can at least get other birds manually before you start scanning the arc. So you will at least know what satelites are in your path based on your view.
