Your receiver is correct, 12146 is right. I took the setting from MyTheatre, an old ini file that used 12144, it works but I checked Lyngsat and they list it as 12146.
I'm guessing you haven't aligned a dish before? If not, be prepared to be patient. Just setting the azimuth with the compass and elevation on the dish, also the skew, is just the beginning. You would be very lucky if you hit the satellite on the first try. Once you have all the angles set, the right frequency selected in your receiver, then you will need to search for the signal, move the dish up, then down, very slowly, give the receiver time to react to the change. You may have to also move the dish on the mast, left or right to lock the signal. Its a lot easier if you can take a small tv and your receiver to the dish site and watch the signal-quality meter on the receiver as you make the dish adjustments.
