When you buy a
QPH031, it is assumed you will be using the linear side of the LNBF, right? Otherwise, why would you buy a QPH?
So, for the linear side of this LNBF, you will need to set the skew for a stationary dish. If you have a motorized setup, then you don't need to set the skew. The motor will take care of that for you.
