Stand by for sticker shock when pricing the DSR922 (Motorola 4DTV). If you buy a subscription package from either Skyvision or NPS they offer the receiver in the $400.00 range. I bought mine before these specials were offered (get the programming special less money for the receiver even after adding in the programming costs) and I paid $1000.00 for mine. I think you have to commit to $150.00 in programming.

4DTV does have some free channels out there and there are some toys you can play with to get more but it is a premium channel subscription receiver. Surround sound, Digital Dolby, C, Ku, Analog, Digital. Has a smart card reader in the back but I do not know what that is for. AV but no componet and when I inquire about future models with componet out they say it is a major stumbling block to overcome.

Great receiver just be ready for emptying the wallet to get one.
