I'm concerned that you seem to get signal "quality" (which typically means you are locked on to one satellite or another).

If you move your dish as much as you do, the quality should drop to 0 (no lock)

As you get close to a satellite, it should suddenly "pop" some signal quality, and at that point, be quite touchy and lose that quality if you move past the satellite (1/4" of dish movement).

If you point your dish at the ground, do you still see any "quality" indication?
