this is just to be infromative..
there security is based off a rotating key system and that information is stored in there recivers or cards that are shipped out when the security keys are changed..
I would think they wouldn't want to bother with other recivers so they wouldn't have to do tech support for the other recivers really.. think about it, they would have to keep up with all the bugs of all the FTA recivers that had this ability, that could be a big pain for them I would think. So long as someone is paying there subsriciption I would think they would be compeled to fix it, then that could lead to more security holes..
