In setting up all Dishpro components for four DishPro recievers, is there any reason a twin DP lnb couldn't be used as a single on my dish 300 sat by capping off the unused side? In other words, I have a legasy 500 twin converted to Dish Pro, a
DP34 switch, but I don't have a DP single lnb to attach to the second 148 satellite, but I do have another twin.
I know that alone the twin acting as a single gave me a signal acting as a single lnb but other issues seemed to crop up in the configuration and I'm trying to rule out the incompatibility of the described configuration before I begin blaming signal loss on other components.
