As I posted in an earlier post, I installed a
dish 1000 dish and a 20" dish pointed at 61.5 all tied together with a DP44 switch. All signals were good 85% to 89% and good reception.
We have been having a lot of storms and a lot of wind lately.
So I have been experiencing a lot of rain fade, more than before with the
dish 500.
My question is: the dish 1000 is 20"x 18" dish; would the dish 1000 set-up work better with a dish 500 20" dish?
(That is swapping-out the 18x20 for the 20" Dish)
If this cannot be done, is there anything else that can be done to limit the loss of signal?
