I really don't know too much about the little dishes to be honest. I've always done the bud. Someone may want to jump in a shed some info on the little dish setup here. ( hint, bobkat)
The elevation settings are 'mathematically' the same, but i think the little dish has an offset adjustment allowed for on the setup markings.
The settings on the big dish are taken directly on the dish hardware itself.
In your area the elevation setting (the main piece the dish ring attaches to) should be about 42.65 degree..... the declination offset (the dish mount ring) should be 5.85 degree difference, tilted downward. You can refer to this site:

Just curious, is the high count causing the receiver not to be accurate in it's positioning?
