The LNBF you got is not a used one. It came without box because we buy it in bulk. This is a STANDARD type LNBF so make sure you change the LNB type to STANDARD and LO Freq to 10750 for all satellites in your receiver.
Since you are installing a
motorized system, it is much more challenging to install than a Dish Network or DirecTV system.
From your description above, it looks like you setup the motor to the wrong elevation. It should be equal to your latitude (~ 40) and not 44 as you have indicated.
