I just added a
sg2100 motor to my system(my receiver is a fortecstar lifetime). I followed the
installation procedure. I first postioned the dish to true south. Then from lifetime I did "antenna setup"->T5->"positioner setting"->diseqc1.2->move(west). (Since my longitude is 92.4W, I picked T5 as the 1st satellite to aim my dish at). I was able to get 91% quality from T5 by nudge the dish. But I could not have the receiver to store the satellite position. Every time after I exited this part of the menu, the receive lost the position setting. Can some tell me what I should do to store the position after I lock on T5?
In BuzzNy's post, he mentioned that he can use USALS to control the motor. I tried that, but after I provided my longitude/latitude and pressed the move button, the motor did not response. Did I do that correctly?
Thanks for help.
