Winegard 76cm dish and stab hh 90 motor

I recently purchased a stab hh 90 motor for my Winegard 76cm dish(ds2076), and have discovered a problem with the installation. My latitute is 41.3, meaning the dish should be set to an elevation of 38.6 deg.. The problem is, the rotor on the stab, when installed in the pole sleeve on the winegard, sticks out too high on the top of the sleeve (this is the stab that the rotor points down), making it impossible to adjust the dish elevation to more than about 20 deg.. In other words, the top of the rotor hits the back of the dish bracket.

Is there a solution to this or a modification that can be made to allow more adjustment in the elevation? I have e-mailed stab and they replied that they have no experience with this particualr dish. Their tech mentioned that they would get one of these dishes and try to provide a solution....but that may be weeks.

Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
