I have installed a Fortecstar Lifetime receiver, dish and Expressvu LNB with
Stab Motor and this was my first time install. I spent a day digging a hole and install a vertical post with concrete.
Installation of Motor and dish is also very time consuming and could vary depending on the eqiupment.
My first dish alignement attempt failed because I didn't follow complete instructions in Stab manual but second time it worked and I was able to get signal quality and scan various satellites.
The nice thing about Fortec receiver is its easiness and compatibility with Stab motor. You don't really need to do anything once you select a satellite, Stab will move the dish automatically within seconds! I still haven't played with all Fortec's functions but by looking at its documentation, performance and picture quality, it is a very descent receiver!
