Cable Type for the purpose of sofware upgrade to version 6.

Hi Jamal,
I am planning to upgrade my FTA BEC 6600+ to version 6 just for the hell of it.

In your site, you refer to a serial RS232 cable and mention that it should be a female DB9 to a male DB9.

However, there is a hyperlink to "Quality Cable" site that takes you to a female to female DB9 null modem cable for $1.70 plus shipping.

Which information is more correct? Can I do the job with a RS232 cable? or I have to get a null modem cable? As far as know, a null modem cable has crossed wires.

Please Clarify. Thanks.
