How to get the Birdog working with the universal LNB. I read about the 22 KHz generator, where can I get it. Looks like everybody is running out of standard LNB's
2 Starchoice
According to perfect-10 Starchoice is using encryption method that is not compatible with Birdog. However, in this forum there is a post that someone got it to work with SC
3 Sometimes I have to hold the "ON" button for almost a minute before Birdog powers up. Is it a hardware problem or is it something that can be reset, or upgraded by serial cable (software version is 2.50, and batteries are ok)
Thanks

If you log onto
www.birdog.tv and go to the "Configure" list you can custom select the satellites to download into your Birdog. Anik F2 is supported on the KU band (for StarChoice) in both standard and universal LNB formats. I notice that Anik F1 (other StarChoice bird) is supported only for
C-band; this would suck heavily if I was a StarChoice
installer... lucky for me I'm not; if I had a nickel for every StarChoice dish I installed I'd have 15 cents.... :mozilla_cool: :mozilla_cool: ExpressVu
RULES...
As for everybody running out of standard LNBs; how many do you need? I've got 100's of 'em.
The Birdog does support universal LNBs but you need to download the UNIVERSAL satellites into your meter; check out

BTW: I own 2 Birdogs and I wouldn't part with them for
anything.
