OK, I've been all over the internet looking to buy a satellite signal meter/identifier. Basically the only 2 out there that are under $500, and seem to be the standard of the industry are the Bird dog & Sathawk. I have seen another one called the Pico, it appears to be identical to the Sathawk, but black in color (made by the same mfgr??). In reading through this forum, mention is made of what firmware version the Bird dog has. Can the firmware in the bird dog be upgraded ??, And what is the
most current firmware revision on the Bird Dog. What about the sathawk,
can the firmware in the sathawk be ugraded??. The problem is, if I were to buy a Bird Dog off e-bay, & they don't mention what version the firmware is, I could be getting an outdated unit. When you guys refer to
universal lnb's are you talking about the new one from
Invacom that
receives Horizontal/Vertical & circular polarization signals.
