The C band lnbf you have works basiclly like a ku band lnbf on a small dish would. The polarity is controlled via 13/18 volt switching internally, which is provided by the operating receiver .

The lnbf itself can be controlled by iether a fta/mpeg2 receiver or a 4DTV/analog receiver.

However to move and operate the big dish from one satellite to another you will need a receiver equiped with 36volt actuator control (ie: 4DTV or older analog). Some of the european market dvb receivers have this capabilty but are not very easy to come by.
