I have and Use a
birdog everyday, it help out allot. I love it. I is expensive (about 400.00 to 500.00) but worth it if you install these often. It makes things go allot faster. You can upload the satellites you want it to find right into the meter, over and over again. I also use a Accutrac, but only for Dish and Directv.
