I notice that some Arab sation are very heavy on it comes to "News" and every hour showing killed people and all the conflicts in the Middle East. But they don't ever critisize the countries they come from. For example, all teh Dubai channels and Abu Dabi didn't say anything about the problems that came as a result of the desposed prince of Ras Al-Khaimah by his brother and the tanks and army that surrounded their palaces. the MBC make the Saudis always look good and so on.... and even worst many Arab channels scroll news all day on the bottom of the screen. that' just sick!!!
I wish that the Arab media put some time to help people with their daily life and fight poverty and illiteracy.
but anyway it's the crisis of the Middle East that make the News a good part of every Arab channel and Hope to see more educational channels and family channels like the ones on Nilesat or Eutlsat.
The funny channel i like more is Libya and El Kadafi and his boooks and the songs about him and I am impressed by Almanar even though and don't agree about some of their ideas because at least they programs are for all ages and mentalities and the nice picture make you watch it even if you don't like the topics.
I miss the lebanese channels and all the good programs they have and hope that some day Arabsat will cover America.
What's more ? the absence of Arab chnnels from North Africa (Moroccco , Algeria and Tunisia) is not understood. why those countries don't send their signals , when even the poorest nations send their like Kurdistan, Haiti....
Anyway I hope you can debate more about the Arab channels and exchange views and taht evryone will participate here :wink:
