Hi I'm a newbie with the Furtec Star. Install my DirectTV and upgrade to
HD dish with no problem but not familiar with the Furtec Star. A few questions:
1. I am using a Direct TV dish with dual LNB with the Fortec Star. Do I need to use the external switch in order to use the fortec Star or can I hook the RG6 cable direct from the Direct TV TV dish to the Fortec receiver?
2. I am in 94132 and having no luck in getting level or quality signal. Can someone recommend a satellite to use in my area with it's elevation and Azimuth settings.
3. The Direct TV dish does not have a LNB polorize skew tilt and most satellite require it so am I out of luck or can I only use certain satellite with the Fertec receiver?
