Directv Dishes

I sent an email, then came across the forums, hoping I might get a quicker answer here. I have Directv and currently have a 30" looking at 119 (For locals), and a 36" looking at 101. 1-2 weeks ago, we had HEAVY rain, and I lost the signal on both satellite. I'm rain-fade-aphobic, and would like to eliminate rain fade entirely if possible. Would the 6' dish seen here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/Forte...ishes/FS6D.htm or the 8' dish seen here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/Forte...ishes/FC08.htm work for 101 (I intend on moving the 36" dish over to the 119 location)?
Also, I've heard about the possibility of generating TOO much signal strength-would either of these dishes do that?
