Can you get into your attic (right below the dish mount)?

If you can, see where your screws came thru the roof (from underneath) you can add cross pieces of wood between the roof rafters. Make an "H" by installing a 16 inch by 8 inch piece (whatever your roof rafter thickness is) between the rafters. Nail it in tight.

Now you know you'll be hitting wood with the dish mount.
