I could use a launery pen (sp) to make marks for AMC 4 and Intelast 6 etc. but getting out the ladder and moving the dish manuelly gets old since I have to put my bathroom off limits till I finish with the Birds.
Perhaps someone is working on this problem now and can shed some light in the night.

I did, read this far I mean. Very entertaining; I'm sure swampster will get a bang out of it and reply very soon.
You can get a motor for the dish; I prefer the HH type as I think they are pretty reliable. As for your worry about pinpointing, its not a real problem. I found no issues with the motor not accurately finding the desired bird. Plus, you can always manually 'nudge' the dish a tad if you need to.
BTW, good job on tuning in AMC4.. :wink:
