FTA Pinpoint AMC4

Ding Dong...I dun it.

The thrill of it all having hit AMC4 and then setting in front of my TV watching the Peoples Network and thinking, "I did it myself" and then blushing a little and realizing I did it with a little help from my friends, Sadoun Web Site, The forum and Swampthing to name a few. First you have to drain the swamp ya know.

KU Band is a little more finiky than its counterparts. It seems to me you not only have to be on a pinhead but in the center of it. Still, I have 78% quality now and don't or haven't experienced any knockouts to date.

Beging a bit nostalgic, I love watching the cowboy movies from Roy Rogers to Chill Whills and Frank Snatra, Burns and Allen to name a few including Abbot and Costello. I could watch channel 1 24/7.

Yet, man is never satisfied with just "Good Enough". He must strive to go onwards and upwards. In the old days, we had 50 foot VHF antenaes on top of our roofs with a rotor cause no one wanted to slide up and down all those wobbly things. Now with FTA sats, the Pig, may go a little hungry at my house.

Well enough horse maneur, here is the question which probably won't get answered because no one wants to read this far: Since KU FTA is so hard to pinpoint, is there a rotor that will work. I understand currently there isn't any that can do it well. If it lands just a fraction of a hair off signal then you don't get the sat.

I could use a launery pen (sp) to make marks for AMC 4 and Intelast 6 etc. but getting out the ladder and moving the dish manuelly gets old since I have to put my bathroom off limits till I finish with the Birds.

Perhaps someone is working on this problem now and can shed some light in the night.
