Rambo,
The distant between my receiver and my
Stab 100 is around 100ft and I have never had any problem at all. Not sure about 235ft.
Did you test the your cable, connection? Try to connect the cable to your working dish,
cband or fixed Ku dish, to make sure it works.
You tested the receiver with your fixed dish and it works OK, but you did not test the Diseqc 1.2 capability, right? Perhaps, something wrong with the receiver Diseqc 1.2 controller.

Since Stab motor gets its electrical from RG6 cable, could it loose electrical sensitivity on lengthy cable runs?
I recently purchased the total system, but my time and weather on the east coast is unfavorable. Also I have connected a line amp from LNB to Stab motor, still no sign of operation. Once weather cooperates, I plan to move receiver next to dish for fine tuming. Any recommendations?????
Note: Dish is monted near my motorized 10 ft dish, I wanted to keep all sat dishes near each other. I have never experienced difficulty from 235 ft, and have always used a line amp for C and KU LNB. I know the receiver works since I used a spare 90cm dish near house, and it registered a signal with a standard LNBF.
