Well you gotta make sure that first of all the atlantic sat transponders you are
aiming at are beamed towards your area. You can see this with the footprint charts of that particular sat. Lyngsat has it all for these things. Next since the earth is curved you can only get a far away sat to a point.
European satellites cannot be reached unfortunatley. They have tons of good FTA programming.
