I had the same problem during the weekend.
VTV4 and a few channel on 12177 did not show up at all on the satellite search. I run a TP search only on 12177, and it did show up, but the channel is bad : no sound/picture.
It turned out that the search recognized VTV4 channel, but somehow can not get the Video PID, Audio PID, and PCR PID values.
I finally get VTV4 when I used the Advanced Search using specific values for those PIDs. I don't have them with me at this time, but someone may be able to post, or I can do it later this evening
By the way, the receiver is the Fortech Star Lifetime Ultra.
